Please note the following ADJUSTMENTS TO CLASS CALENDAR
Due to Columbus Day Holiday (10/9), Tuesday (10/10) is being used as a Monday Schedule. There is no class on Tuesday October 10.
I will be in Japan from November 5-15 working on a comparative study of NYC and Tokyo. There will be no class on Tuesday November 7 and Tuesday November 14. THE CLASS WILL MEET ON THURSDAY NOVEMBER 16.
I appreciate it that as a whole, you made a fine effort to do the walking assignments and participate in class. It makes teaching a blast! Keep it up. From your forms, I see that we have students with some familiarity with Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, LA etc. When you walk around NYC, try to note similarities/differences with other great cites.
Something I forgot: If you did the BX Tremont walk (or are doing it this week), have info for the class for the vicinity of Third Ave.
We've made a lot of progress in organizing the class. We should wrap this up at our next meeting Tues 9/19.
