~1/30/2000~ Just returned from seeing Beauty and the Beast on Broadway again! Wonderful! Andrea McArdle was an excellent Belle. Steve Blanchard was also wonderful as the Beast. Last time I saw the play he was playing Gaston so it was interesting to see him in both roles. For anyone who is in New York I recommend going to see it now since the whole cast is very strong! Anyway, on to page updates. The new trivia quiz is up and winners from the old quiz have been posted. Several people sent me blank e-mails. I am not sure if that was a problem with my e-mail or a just a mistake. If you did send me one of those e-mails and it wasn't supposed to be blank, sorry for the mistake! They all happened in about the span of about a week so whatever the problem was, seems to have fixed itself. There will also be two quizes from now on. The usual one in which anwsers will be sent to me and I will post the names on the website. The other quiz is in Java format so it will be graded instantly--for those of you who are the instant gratification types! ;-) Also, because it tends to take me a few months to post the winners despite all my good intentions. And... of course, it is a year later and there is still no musical page. Progress has been slow, some parts are up, others aren't. So... since I can't guarentee when it is going to be compleate, I am going to go ahead and link the page and note which links are opperational and which aren't. On a personal note--this page celebrated its second birthday on December 27! That's all for now. As always, comments, suggestions, ect. are always welcome!
~10/29/99~ Okay, so this isn't really a Beauty and the Beast update, but I thought I would throw it up here anyway. My own personal homepage is now up if anyone wants to take a look at that. It doesn't have a theme, it is just a rambling fairy tale about my life and my own personal tribute to adobe photoshop, which I have been having way too much with with this week. That's all for now. ~10/18/99~ I fixed my javascript code so anyone surfing the net with Netscape 3.0 or greater will now be able to see the "picture flips" on the main menu. Okay so it isn't the much promised musical page, but it sure does look neat! ;-) That and I was having fun playing around with Javascript. Anyway, the midi file will be back up soon and I hope this new format does help with the load time, I know it was quite long! As always, check back soon, I am feeling inspired so ya never know what might happen to this page! :-)
~10/17/99~ Just a few cosmetic changes. The links were all check for "deadness" at the beginning of the month. The webrings have been moved off the main page onto their own page due to the large load time associated with those graphics. The background music was also removed for the time being. It will be back in a few days once I embed it differently so that it will be compatable with more browsers. Also the main page is now javascript enchanced. The changing quote works (where it once only said "The Most Beautiful Love Story Ever Told" there are now six possible quotes which may appear). New graphics have been created for the menu and these too will soon be Javascript enchanced as soon as I figure out what is wrong with my code. Thanks to everyone participating in the current trivia quiz I have received a lot of responses already. To those of you who haven't given it a try yet--go for it! :-)
~9/9/99~ This may be the last update for a few weeks since I have just started my first-year of college and I'm still settling into to classes and of course I have an insane amount of work to do. Anyway, the new trivia quiz is up. Also in response to a suggestion found in my guestbook that I add music to my page I have put the midi for the song Beauty and the Beast on the main page.And as always work still continues on the musical page. For people interested in seeing the musical, it will be touring again starting in November so watch for local showings! It is definately worth getting tickets for.
~7/29/99~ I have returned once more from another lengthy hiatus! Sorry about the lack of update. My old computer had a meltdown so I have been very offline for the past four monthes. But I have returned once more thanks to my new Blueberry Imac. The Quiz Winners have been posted and the new Quiz will be up by the end of the week. The musical page is going to take a few more weeks since I lost all the graphics I had found and scanned as well as most of the files I had been working on. The valuable lesson I have learned from this is to back EVERYTHING up to disk. ;-) Anyway I will be updating again soon.
~2/4/99~ The script it complete!!! Finally, it took almost a year but all parts are now up and organized. Enjoy and please be kind to the script of the Enchanted Christmas, I did have to sit and watch the movie a million times to copy that thing. All I can say it God bless closed captioning! That made it possible for me to finish the last three parts so quickly. The next thing to go up should be the musical page. ~2/3/99~ Another update. I'm feeling rather proud of myself after neglecting my page all these monthes! ;-) Today I organize the Enchanted Christmas script and created a page which has all the part listed separately with description of each part. Parts one through eight are up and complete, that's a little more than half of the movie. I'm going to try to have the script completed by the end of the week. But anyway, it is no longer necessary to read each part of the script in order to get to the next scene. To check out the new page Click Here. ~1/30/99~ As promised, the new trivia quiz has finally be posted. Okay...so it's a little late. Well, six months late but who's keeping track. Anyway, it's finally up. The winners will be posted by the end of February. The next major update will be the page dedicated to the musical. That page is currently under construction but should be up by mid-to late Feburary at the very latest. Come back again soon! And as always, e-mail me with any suggestions, thoughts, or comments! I always try to anwser all of my e-mail. It may take me a little while to find the anwsers to your questions but I enjoy receiving the mail and always try to anwser within a week.
~1/25/99~Another new link, and a few typos corrected as well as an update of the "about me" page. Now that I'm in college I'm going to have a lot more free time on my hands (finally!), so I won't be neglecting this page as much. I also returned this morning from NYC where I saw Beauty and the Beast on Broadway staring Toni Braxton. It was simply amazing and I am hoping to go back and see it again in a few months. After seeing the musical I ran out and bought the CD, so I will be putting up the lyrics as well as a page dedicated solely to the Broadway musical. These changes will be taking place in the next few weeks and days. Honest! I mean it this time! ;-) So, check back soon and I'll finally make up that new quiz.
